There are also sections on home slaughter and butcher, and, uniquely, processing the byproducts, including the fleece and keeping sheep for dairying. Unusually, the book also has a section on training sheepdogs.

I have not sat down to read a book since being forced to do so in school many many years ago - but I am avidly reading through the pages of this book at every chance. Its also come right in handy when 'somethings been up' with any of my sheepies.
A great read and on a level thats easy to understand and interesting to read.
Best book I have ever bought (apart from that one on landrovers) ;)
