Hi, new too this, but here goes, I am a Engineer and work full time, but on the weekends I work for myself fabricating all kinds of Farm equipment. I have a 16 Tonne Log splitter for hire with a 4WD Massey and operator, I build sheep and cattle feeders, mobile and static for sale, I am currently building a mobile cattle race and crush, which will be used for self use and Hire. I build quad bike trailers and feeders to fit behind the quad (marvelous machines). I am currently working on two new Patent projects which you guys might be interested in the future. I live in Mid Wales and if you are interested in my Hire or fabricating give me a shout! Pikey (My Nickname) ;) Forgot to say, I work/ help,on my families small holding with sheep and cattle, 500 + sheep and 10 cattle, 3 dogs, 6 cockrills and one hen plus 3 cats and numerous rats.We also sell firewood in the local area, ASH and OAK.

But the UK educated the best engineers too use it! Give me some steel and I will build a dream! Like the quote about Titanic, amazing bit of floating / sinking engineering! What a ship, not as nice as the old tea schooners on full sail!? :)

I want some ducks next, only 2 but as we are in an urban area no cocerill as much as I would love one....I like both lifes, country and the life we have now...life is too short to get stuck in a rut...if we were short of money we would have a new life in a little shed somewhere...maybe!!!! I also wanted chickens to eatm I may have some soon just need another jutch...CU

We have no ducks, but we do have pheasants, rabbits and snipe when they are in season. Happy duck in a shed?  :farmer:
