Hi all

We've just purchased a Berkey water filter system and I was all set to carry out the red food colouring test to make sure the filters are working correctly.  However I've now discovered the recommended artificial food dye is banned in the EU.  Have any Berkey water filter users in the UK found a suitable alternative?
