Hi

I’m after a recipe of anyone has 1 for elderflower cordial that will store until next year.
It’s all 2 of my kids will drink and costs a flipping fortune.  I have 12 bushes so want to use
Can anyone suggest a recipe to try please.
Thank you

I haven't got a recipe that works. We tried one using the bushes we have here and it was a complete disaster- tasted 'off'. We ended up asking a friend to bring some over from Waitrose. Yes, it was very expensive (and we avoided import duty).

Try your kids on some of the other cordials- peach, raspberry, strawberry etc.

You need citric acid to make sure it stays good.
I made it last year and the year before
I use the Country Living Recipe
https://www.countryliving.com/uk/create/food-and-drink/recipes/a401/elderflower-cordial/

It's delicious - I'm addicted to it too
I use it in soda water and in tonic
Always have been, always will be, a WYSIWYG - black is black, white is white - no grey in my life! But I'm mellowing in my old age

plenty of recipies about .... I prefer the ones with less sugar.    It can be frozen to keep for longer

Don't wrestle with pigs, they will love it and you will just get all muddy.
