Pleasant surprise..

Having a clear out, too much junk, so have been playing ebay, anyway just been through my books, I've got a good one!

Hammer of the gods, led zep book, 1st edition American & 1st printing, vgc, no idea what it's worth, amazon suggest a new old one is £100, a second hand good one £50, but non of these are 1st edition 1st prints

Must be worth at least £65 I'd guess, I mean it's almost the original hand written manuscript, any idea where you can get valuations?

Search for a rare book shop nearby. Even if its not thier cup of tea, they might be able to put you in touch with a specialist. Alternatively, might be worth taking it to an auction house?

try ebay and see what is selling on there. iv sold and bought 1st editions on there before. amazon also are good too sometimes in that they will buy books from you but not too good money.
iv been after a certain book for ages and its been on amazon for almost £100 so iv been waiting almost 18 mths to find one at a sensible price. it arrived today and I paid a grand sum of 1p!! bargain.
 :excited: :excited:

iv got wordsworth poetry book with the old fashioned thick paper pages with the really thin paper inbetween each page. I love it cos its so old late 1800 I think.
no idea what its worth (excuse the pun). I did ask an old book shop manny in my area but he wasn't interested in buying. I bought books from him for about £12 each to find them in the bargain shop for £3, argh

I love books.

You could always put it on ebay with a reserve on it, just to make sure it doesn't go to cheap. :)
