wondering what to do about a bad neighbour
« on: June 27, 2014, 07:35:36 pm »
My neighbour has just ordered me to take my bird tables down because a couple of birds pooped on a trampoline I told him s**t happens but he continues to order me to remove them
So I thought I'd add more what do you guys and girls think any ideas for the problem ????

he has no right to stop you feeding the birds,

i have a pain in the ass neighbour who feeds cat food on his front lawn to attract seagulls and magpies and that's perfectly ok according to environmental health...

so if its a bird table for pretty songbirds finches tits etc, go for it and tell the neighbour to do one...

I take no responsibility for any black eyes you may receive if your neighbour objects to this line of reasoning!!!!

If he doesn't want bird poop on his trampoline he should cover it when it's not in use like everyone else, lazy man.

Can he prove it was one of the birds which visits you?  I think not!

You should not encourage too many birds to one garden...unless you also provide accommodation  ;D
A few nest boxes dotted around might be the answer. As well as a few more feeders. (To encourage different species of course.)

not wicked, this isn't exactly a forum where anyone's going to say make the cute little birdies starve to save a trampoline needing a wipe with a damp cloth...

i actually feel the general suggestions on here have been quite tame...

my first thought was tie the neighbour to the trampoline and super glue birdseed all over them...

but apparently that's not allowed, Mrs B. said i'd be in trouble for inciting violence or some such...

How about some very free range chickens...with a couple of cockerels for good measure :stir: .

Or racing pigeons?

My neighbour installed a hot tub but at least she had the good grace and humour to say it was the biggest bird table in Britain (she couldn't use it as she was pregnant ;D , two summers running ::) )
