We have a stream that runs through our property.  Although the fall is not great the flow is consistent throughout the past 10 years and I would like to investigate the possibility of installing a hydro plant to produce electricity.  I have searched the web and although I have found a firm in Cornwall but would like to find someone in SE Wales (Monmouthshire).  Does anyone have any ideas or contacts?

TGV hydro do installations in wales; when I enquired they'd do a free feasability estimate based on OS/hydro maps and your info on where you can access the water course, but that was ~ three years ago.

If you're wanting to know how much power your stream can produce there's a calculator on the powerspout website.
