I've been living with my partner and dog in our motorhome touring Europe for the last couple of years, now looking to set down some roots and looking for some where to settle and become as self sufficient as possible...

we have a very small budget for buying some where, ideally looking for and acre (more if we can afford it) with a small building for us to live in.

We started looking at Fincas in Spain and found quiet a few at the right price with water; but the legal issues involved with trying to place a staic caravan or log cabin on it and live in it are a nightmare...

Now looking at the centre of France and the money seems about right (should be able to pick up a small building + land for around £25-27,000) but now I'm getting a little concerned that the amount of land I'm looking at wont be enough...

Any advice about where and what to buy would be greatfully received
