Is it bloat?
« on: February 20, 2018, 08:15:10 pm »
Brought in a 6 week old lamb from field last night. She is always alone eating grass so figure she hasn't suckled much, appears well fed but on closer inspection belly is bloated not full.
Wormed her resulting in longest tapeworm expelled I have ever seen, gave her a jab of Betamox, decrusted eyes, blue sprayed dermatitis on nose.
She has readily eaten lamb feed today and is active enough, however tonight her belly on both sides seems even bigger.Could be because she has had pellets, just concerned it could be gas, or it could be lots of worms.
New to this and just need some advice.

Only just seen this.  How is she now?  I'd consult your vet - perhaps Watery Mouth (also called Rattlebelly)?
